1991, Haydn's The Seasons - Autumn and Winter (with audio files)
Rehearsals for The Seasons had been going on since late October, in preparation for two performances in early December, at Diamond Creek Uniting Church and at Eltham Anglican Church. A wide range of soloists was used, although poor Graham had to do all the bass solos and be the mainstay of the bass line of the chorus. Other soloists were Ellen Hundley, Mavis Ford, Ingrid Schipperheyn, Rita Burchill, Allan Luke and Michael Try.
These history notes have been kindly provided by our long-term artistic director and co-founder, Graham Ford.
Audio files of the performances, provided by Graham Ford. Soloists are named first.
