On the stage
DVS presents a Broadway production and a youth production every year, with variety, cabaret and other performances from time to time.
Auditions are held for our events to cast lead roles. You don’t need any previous experience to book an audition, and our ensembles are drawn from people with a range of performing skills and capabilities.
Behind the Scenes
You don’t need to perform to get involved!
Our performances require so much more than what is seen on stage to make them a success. Set building, costumes, props, make-up, hair, publicity, musicians and accompanists, lighting, sound, and so much more.
Creative Teams
The DVS Committee receives, assesses and selects pitches for our shows each year, providing opportunities for creative teams in Melbourne’s community theatre scene.
