Kismet is an adaptation of music by Borodin, and is set in old Baghdad. We had no idea of who was to be our lead tenor, but were saved when Gerard Schneider turned up at the auditions. He went on to become an international opera star! To enhance the experience the audience were served Turkish Delight at interval.
